| Doris Sparks Echternach, 84, formerly of Boone, Iowa and most recently of Whittier, California passed away on April 4, 2005 at Fullerton’s St. Jude Medical Center.
Doris and Harry Echternach enjoyed 54 years of marriage commencing on their wedding date of November 7, 1950. She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers; Floyd, Clifford, Edward, Beryl and Lyle, and an infant son and daughter. She is survived by her husband, Harry of Whittier, CA, 2 brothers, Laurel (Holly) Sparks and their daughter Erin Sparks all of Westminster, CA; John Wayne (Marlena) Sparks of Gridley, CA and their daughter Rochelle Sparks of CA and her son Sean David Sparks of Oregon, and their son John David Sparks of Gridley, CA; sister-in-law, Grace Sparks of Boone; sister-in-law, Eloise Sparks and niece Shannon Spencer Boone all of Whittier, CA, nieces, Donna (Dominic) Fiorino of Boone, IA; Sharon Sparks of Boone, and a nephew Jim (Martha) Sparks of Boone, and several other nieces and nephews. Graveside services with interment of ashes will be held on Friday morning, September 22, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. at Sparks Cemetery southwest of Boone, Iowa with Pastor Steven Gehman officiating. | ||
