| | | Sylvia Beth Eyman, 69, formerly of Stratford, Iowa and currently of Fargo, North Dakota, died Wednesday, July 18, 2007 at her home under the care of Hospice and her husband.
Sylvia was born April 3, 1938, in Webster City, Iowa to Harold and Cleo (Dick) Westrum.
She graduated from Stratford High School and attended Simpson College in Indianola, Iowa and Buena Vista College in Storm Lake, Iowa. She taught 3rd grade for 3 years in Maryland and also worked with Prairie Public Television. She was an Independent Sales Director with Mary Kay Cosmetics for the majority of her career.
Sylvia married Doyle Eyman on July 24, 1961 at Fort Gordon, Georgia.
She had a very strong Christian faith and was active in her church, including singing in the choir and Bible study fellowship.
Her parents and her brother, Dick Westrum, preceded her in death.
She is survived by her husband, Doyle “Dutch” of Fargo; her children, Shawn (Armando) Bustamante of Denver, CO, Angela (David) Abeyta of Denver, CO, Nicole Cella (fiancé Kevin Cote) of Centennial, CO; grandchildren, Janelle, Gillian, Vincent, Joseph, Shawn; sister, Stephanie (Dr. Stan) Quick of Storm Lake, Iowa; brothers, Noel (Wilma) Westrum of Stratford, Iowa and Timothy (Pam) Westrum of Madrid, Iowa.
Services will be held on Monday, July 23rd at 1:00 p.m. at the Calvary Baptist Church in Fargo,, North Dakota.
Friends may call at the Boulger Funeral Home in Fargo, North Dakota on Sunday, July 22nd from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the service at the Church on Monday.
Graveside services and interment will be held on Wednesday, July 25th, at 1:00 p.m. at the South Marion Cemetery, southeast of Stratford, Iowa.
