| | | Judy Kreider, 66, of South Whitley died at 7:17 a.m. Thursday, August 2, 2012 at Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home, Fort Wayne.
She was born November 10, 1945 in Huntington, IN a daughter of the late Floren and Bernice (Aldridge) Kreider. Her formative years were spent in South Whitley. She graduated from South Whitley High School in 1964.
Following her graduation, she began her career with Lincoln National Life, Fort Wayne. She retired in 2005 with 41 years of service.
She was a member of Pleasant View Church of the Brethren. In her spare time, she enjoyed knitting.
Surviving include two sisters, Beverly (Carl) Schmidt, Fort Wayne and Diann (Dennis) Krider Columbia City; two nieces, Debra Winchester, Fort Wayne and Karla (Chad) Hough, Fort Wayne; two nephews, Christopher (Mindy) Krider, Andrews and Curtis (Jennifer) Krider, South Whitley; 3 great nephews and 4 great nieces.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday at Smith & Sons Miller Chapel, South Whitley with Pastor Josh Armstrong officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
Preferred memorials are to Pleasant View Church of the Brethren or Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home, Fort Wayne.
