Jim was a great mentor and had a great business reputation in the Dana world. I was honored that Jim selected me to help start the Longview Plant as that provided me one of one my greatest professional experiences looking back. For that I credit Jim. One of my best bosses ever. Sad to hear of his passing. He will be missed. | From: Todd Burris 03/16/2012 12:30 PM

To the Adams Family,
May you find comfort in your loss with the Lord. Les knew Jim well & worked at Dana w/him. We just had seen him at a get together in FW last fall. I remember all the family from St. Paul's. I asked especially about Jayma, & gave him my email address for her. We spoke about Fr. Zenz & our Catechism classes.
We will keep you all in our hearts & prayers, and treasure fond memories of Jim. God Bless!

I worked for Jim when he started the Dana Longview Plant in Texas in 2000. Not only was Jim my boss, he became a very good friend to me. Jim was a true gentleman. He was hard working, fair, honest, and it was always a pleasure to work with him and to be in his company. Jim always found something to make him smile.
Stephanie, please accept my most heartfelt sympathies for your loss...my thoughts are with you and your family during this difficult time.

My sympathy to Jims mom and siblings. He was not only my neighbor here in Hallsville, he was one of my best friends ever! I enjoyed our morning visits so much. Although I have never met or know his mom or siblings and spouses, I do know of you and how much he loved you. I will miss him so much!

I worked for Jim in Rockford Illinois and it is truly sad to hear of his passing. Stuborn and strong willed but a mentor and a teacher. Jim was straight forward and made change in my life that I am truly thankful for.
He will be missed. | From: Carl welton 03/15/2012 09:07 AM
