| | | GLENDIVE, MONTANA: Charles Eugene Scherman, age 23, passed away on Sunday, November 1, 2009 at his home in Glendive. Visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Friday, November 6, 2009 and 9:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. on Saturday, November 7, 2009 at the Silvernale-Silha Funeral Home in Glendive. A Wake Service will be held at 4:00 P.M. on Saturday, November 7, 2009 at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Glendive.
Silvernale-Silha Funeral Home of Glendive has been entrusted with the arrangements.
Charles was born on July 8, 1986 in Aurora, Colorado the son of Edward C. and Chrystal (Bunker) Scherman. He was raised and educated in Glendive attending Jefferson Elementary School, Washington Middle School and Dawson County High School.
Charles worked odd jobs before going to work in the oilfield in 2004,where he worked for Basic Energy Services as a Derrick Hand.
In his spare time Charles enjoyed music, especially playing his guitar in a band. He also liked working on his pickup and motorcycles. He liked guns and hunting, and loved the great outdoors and the adventures it brought.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Survivors include his mother, Chrystal Bunker of Grand Junction, Colorado;
his father and stepmother, Ed and Tammy Scherman of Minot, North Dakota; his twin brother, Jeffery Scherman of Glendive; Step Brothers, Cole Robinson and his wife Kira and Ty Robinson of Wichita, Kansas, Will Robinson of California; his step sister, Amber Robinson of Minot and numerous Aunts, Uncles and cousins.
