| | | Brenda Jean Fisher, age 54, passed away on Monday, September 28th at her home in Glendive, MT. She was born August 24, 1955 to Leonard W. and Helen (Whitmore) Larrabee in Amery, Wisconsin. She grew up in Barron, WI. and graduated from Barron High School in 1973.
After college, Brenda was recruited by the Glendive Medical Center where she worked as a Medical Technologist in the laboratory for fifteen years and then did clinic work up until her death.
She made Glendive her home and shortly after arriving, she met Michael E. Fisher. They were married at the First Lutheran Church in Barron on April 15, 1978. It was a very happy marriage between true friends and soul mates. Mike considered her the most important asset of their plumbing business. She was a dedicated wife, mother and friend. She was always kind and thoughtful. She gave unselfishly to her family, friends and work. Brenda will be deeply missed!
Brenda enjoyed watching her son, Danny, follow in his father's footsteps when he was shooting trap, hunting or fishing. She loved horses (especially her horse, Moe) and shared that passion with her daughter, Sara, making many wonderful memories together. She shared her equestrian knowledge with many young 4-h'ers, served as the Glendive Show Chairman for Eastern Montana Horse Show Circuit, was an active member of Zion Lutheran Church, a lifetime member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, loved sewing and scrap booking.
Brenda is survived by her two children, son Daniel Paul of Glendive and daughter Sara Jean of Bozeman, MT.; mother Helen Larrabee of Eau Claire, WI.; two brothers, Steve Larrabee (Carol) of Eau Claire, WI. And Dr. Craig Larrabee (partner Dr. Michael Bernklau) of Mequon, WI; sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her father Larry and most recently by her husband, Mike.
