Ronald W. Beeler, age 60, of Glendive, passed away on Tuesday, October 31, 2006 after a tragic accident on Tuesday, October 24, 2006.
No services are planned. Silvernale-Silha Funeral Home of Glendive is entrusted with arrangements.
Ron was born on August 31, 1946 in Glendive, Montana, the son of Hartley and Violet (Sutherland) Beeler. He was raised in Wibaux and graduated from Wibaux High School with the class of 1964. In March of 1965, Ron enlisted in the United States Air Force. He was united in marriage to Elaine Mitchell on February 13, 1968 in Baker, Montana. Ron and his wife resided in Glendive where he worked for Buttreys and Albertsons for 17 years, was co-owner of the Southside Tavern for 11 years and drove for Pixley and Powder River Transportation for 12 years. At the time of his death, he was employed at the Jordan Inn.
Ron loved his family, socializing with his many friends and hunting.
His parents and an infant brother preceded him in death.
Ron is survived by his wife, Elaine, of Glendive; his daughters, Laurie Slaska and her husband Jim and Paula Kronmiller and her husband Pat, all of Glendive; his grandchildren, Amanda Peterson, Trisha Peterson and Kamron Kronmiller, all of Glendive; a sister, Bonnie Chrostowski of San Diego, California; and his brothers, Monty Beeler and his wife Paula of Wibaux, and Rodney Kindopp and his wife Beth of Kalispell, Montana; his stepsister, Candy Austby and her husband Darry of Glendive; his aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
