| | | Rosalind Bennett, age 60, of Glendive, passed away on Monday, February 6, 2006 at the Deaconess Billings Clinic in Billings, Montana.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, February 10, 2006 in the Chapel of the Silvernale-Silha Funeral Home in Glendive with Pastor Ray Willis officiating. Interment will be in the Dawson Memorial Cemetery in Glendive. Silvernale-Silha Funeral Home of Glendive is entrusted with arrangements.
Rosalind was born on February 11, 1945 in Little Rock, Arkansas, the daughter of Earl and Janie (Croy) Midkiff. She was raised and educated in Redfield, Arkansas and graduated from Sheridan, Arkansas high school in 1963. Rosalind worked as a nurses aide in Little Rock for many years. In 1978, she moved to Lovell, Wyoming where she worked as a waitress. In 1994, Rosalind and her family moved to Glendive where she worked as a nurses aide at the Glendive Medical Center Extended Care Facility. She quit working in 1997 to always be near her grandbabies.
Rosalind was a member of the Easter Star - Yellowstone Chapter #5 and had also belonged to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. She also enjoyed pro hockey, especially the Colorado Avalanche.
Rosalind is preceded in death by her parents and one sister.
Survivors include her daughters, Lizbeth Wren and her husband Todd and their children, Michael and Dakota Wren and Kayla Simcox and her husband Dana and their daughter, Tori Elizabeth Simcox, all of Glendive.
