| | | Frances J. Amundson, 90, of Cold Spring, Minnesota and formerly of Glendive, died Friday, August 15, 2003 at the Assumption Home in Cold Spring, Minnesota.
Frances was born February 2, 1913, in Glendive, Montana, the daughter of John P. and Frieda (Lange) Manly. After attending Montana State University, she married Arnold T. Amundson on September 19, 1936, in Bozeman, Montana. Frances was a legal secretary for many years. She lived in Glendive until moving to Assumption Court in Cold Spring in 1997.
She was preceded in death by her husband on December 19, 1987; brothers, James and Gerald and two grandsons.
Survivors include her daughters, Sharon and her husband John Holwager of Cedar City, Utah, Jill and her husband Frank Kountz of Casper, Wyoming; son, Jack and his wife Janie of Cold Spring; nine grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
A memorial mass of celebration will be at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 19, 2003 with a gathering of friends and relatives one hour before, at the St. Boniface Catholic Church, Cold Spring. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 A.M., Thursday, August 21, 2003 at the Dawson County Cemetery in Glendive. Arrangements with the Wenner Funeral Home in Cold Spring, MN.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Assumption Home or the charity of your choice.
