Sherri Ann Chandler of Montgomery, Texas passed away on Sunday, July 22, 2012. She was born on October 26, 1963 to Charles and Darlene (Lampe) Ott in Morgan City, Louisiana who precede her in death. She is survived by daughter, Natalie Chandler, Johnny Chandler; brother, Jerry Ott; sister-in-law Shelly Ott; grandmother, Beulah Ott, other relatives and many other loving friends. Sherri Ann was a member of the National Charity League. She was dedicated to loving and teaching pre-school age children. Sherri was always eager to volunteer to the kids needs. She loved many and was loved by all who knew her. Sherri leaves behind many loving friends. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 24th from 5-8 p.m. at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home, in Montgomery. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 25th at Montgomery United Methodist Church, in Montgomery, Texas. Interment will be held immediately after the service at the New Montgomery Cemetery. A reception will be held at the Church immediately after the interment. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donating to the Montgomery United Methodist Church “Pre-School Scholarship Fund” in memory of Sherri Ann Chandler.
