| | | Lou McKinney of Montgomery, Texas passed away on November 18, 2009 at age 90. She was born on February 2, 1919 in Milton, Louisiana to Lidier and Aimee Primeaux.
She is survived by her son: Marvin McKinney and wife, Sherrey; daughter, Carol Sims; sister, Ivy Kensen, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren. Also, surviving are numerous cousins, other relatives and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 21st at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home, in Montgomery, Texas. Rev. Hiram “Doc” Jones will officiate. Interment will follow services in the Conroe Memorial Cemetery. Pallbearers are Kevin McAndrew, Scottie McKinney, Norman Wilson, Charles McKinney, Charles Ballard, and Edward McKinney. Her family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, November 20th from 6-8 P.M. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Odyssey HealthCare Foundation, 100 I-45 North, Conroe Texas 77301 in Ms. McKinney’s memory.
