Lorraine Everett Armour, passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2009 at age 83. Lorraine was born on July 19, 1926 in Scottsbluff, Nebraska to Dr. Robert and Sally Everett. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, James W. Armour, Sr.; two sons, Clayton Gilliam and James W. Armour Jr.; three daughters, Diana L. Cropper, Barbara L. Davis and Peggy S. Kehlenbeck; two sisters, Violet Alston and Marjory Borem, and numerous grand and great grandchildren. Lorraine lived in the Lake Conroe Area since 1977 and was active in volunteer work for the remainder of her life. She especially enjoyed her volunteer work for the Montgomery Historical Society. Services will be held on Friday, November 6, 2009 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home in Montgomery, Texas. Pastor Ed Bishop will officiate. Interment will follow services at the New Montgomery Cemetery, Montgomery, Texas. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, November 5, 2009 at the funeral home.
