Liz Siler of Montgomery, Texas passed away on Thursday, October 8, 2009 after an eighteen month struggle with cancer. Liz was born on September 21, 1959 in Odessa, Texas. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 12, 2009 at 10 a.m. in the Chapel of Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home in Montgomery, Texas. Interment will follow services at Garden Park Cemetery in Conroe. Her family will receive friends on Sunday, October 11, 2009 at the funeral home from 4-6 p.m.

Liz was a wonderful blessing to her family as a wife, mother, sister, and friend. As a long time resident of Montgomery, Liz was known by many through her devoted work with M.Y.S.A. in the 1980’s, in addition to years as a valued employee of Mariel’s Grocery and then by First Bank of Conroe. More recently it was her ten years as co-owner of King’s Cafe that brought about friendships old and new. King’s was Liz’s second family from the wonderful employees to the loyal customers. Her death is a great loss to her family and the countless friends she leaves behind.

Liz is preceded in death by her Mother and Father, Jim and Lillie Bryan of Montgomery, Texas. She is survived by the love of her life, her husband of 33 years, Jim Siler of Conroe, Texas; her pride and joy, sons Joshua Siler of Conroe and Danny Palmer of Conroe, Texas; sister, Susan Benham and husband Jeff Benham and their son Bryan Benham of Conroe, Texas; brother, Jimmie Bryan and wife Renea Bryan, their three children, Jonathan, Michael, and Victoria of Montgomery, Texas, and Jimmy Lambert of Primbrook, North Carolina, Godfather of Joshua Siler , plus numerous adoring in-laws, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
