George Lenard Garvin, Sr.

In loving memory of George Lenard Garvin, Sr., born October 7, 1942 in Chicago, Illinois and resided in Montgomery Texas, passed away on February 25, 2009. He served as a highly commended Radioman in the U. S Navy since 1961, and continued his service in the Reserves. Retired in 2007, a pioneer in the communication industry, George is remembered fondly by his former employees and co-workers. He is survived by sons; George Lenard, Jr., Donald Joseph, Michael Patrick and daughter; Terrie (Theresa) Statum. George was a devoted husband to wife Aida who passed away in 2004, a loving father to his children, and a great friend to all whose lives he touched. He will be missed dearly.
