Gala A. White, loving wife and loving mother, 60, went to be with her Lord at 4:20 AM on December 24, 2008 at her home in Montgomery, Texas. Gala is survived by her husband, John White of Montgomery, Texas; daughter Angela Hartman of Oahu, Hawaii; son-in-law Roy Hartman; grandson Peter Hartman; son James White of Montgomery, Texas; daughter-in-law Mikaela White; son Peter White of Montgomery, Texas; brother Melvin Bogard of Tyler, Texas; sister-in-law Cynthia Bogard; sister-in-law Charlotte Darling of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; brother-in-law Gary Darling; sister-in-law Mary Hendricks of Atlanta, Georgia; brother-in-law David White of Atlanta, Georgia; sister-in-law Debbie White; brother-in-law Claud White of Little Rock, Arkansas; sister-in-law Lisa White; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and countless friends. Visitation will be at the Benui Baptist Church, Scott Ridge - FM 1097 Montgomery, Texas on Friday, December 26, 2008 from Noon until the time of service. Funeral services officiated by Pastor John Lockwood will begin at 2 p.m. at the church. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, December 27 at 2 p.m. at the Haven of Memories Cemetery in Canton, Texas.
