Freda D. Thompson passed away at her Montgomery home on Saturday, October 25, 2008 after suffering from cancer for over a year. Freda was born on August 31, 1936 to Bill and Alice Armbruster in Big Springs, Nebraska. She is preceded in death by her father, Bill Armbruster, and daughter Donna Burgess. She is survived by her mother, Alice Armbruster; brother, Bob Armbruster and wife Judy; daughter, Dianna Pritzkau and husband Merle; sons, Brad Clark and wife, Patsy and Alan Clark; son-in-law, Bob Burgess and wife Sue; grandchildren, Patricia Herald and Kevin Vinzant, Melissa and Lee Hawkins, Colleen and Soren Olesen, Travis and Celia Weber and five great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and numerous loving friends. A memorial service officiated by Chaplain Roylette Turner, will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, October 30, 2008 in the Chapel of Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home, of Montgomery, Texas.
