Albert Joseph Blackford, Jr., passed away on September 24th, 2008 in Montgomery, Texas at the age of 69. Albert is survived by his loving family; wife, Donna; sons, Todd and wife, Pam, Bryan and wife Jill and five grandchildren, Lauren, Jessica, Morgan, A.J. and Mason Blackford. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Helen Blackford, Sr., sister, Joy Laufer, and a brother, Edward Lynch. He was employed in the drug retail merchandising field in Columbus, Ohio. Upon retirement, Albert and Donna moved to Lake Conroe, to be near their sons and grandchildren. He loved living on Lake Conroe, enjoyed boating and spent hours at his favorite pastime, fishing. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 28th in the Chapel of Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home in Montgomery, Texas at 3:00 p.m. Family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00-3:00 p.m. on Sunday.
