Agnes Grace Trowbridge went to be with the Lord on August 18, 2008. Waiting for her in glory is her husband, William Harvey Trowbridge; her son, William Irvin Trowbridge, her daughter-in-law, Janice Jones Trowbridge; her sisters, Josephine, and Geraldine Smiley; Geneva Grace Key, her Mother, and her father, Floyd Key. Waiting to join her one day are; Shirley Trowbridge Johnson, her daughter; Raymond Johnson, her son-in-law; grandchildren, Joy Jones, Jill Trowbridge, Ginger Malone and her husband Rik, Joshua Johnson and his wife Melissa; and, great grandchildren, Jonathan Jones, Mackenzie Malone and Declan Johnson. Agnes was born in Okmulgee, Oklahoma and lived her early years throughout Oklahoma and Kansas. The majority of her life was spent in Houston, Texas serving as a faithful member of Faith Memorial Baptist Church and then Westbury Baptist Church. During her later years, Agnes lived in the Montgomery area with her daughter and served the Lord in West Conroe Baptist Church. Agnes was a kind hearted woman of great faith, perseverance, and commitment. Throughout her life she was a faithful servant to the Lord, positively influencing her family and those in her community. The service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday morning, August 20th, at West Conroe Baptist Church in Conroe, Texas. Interment will be at Forest Park-Lawndale, 6900 Lawndale St., Houston, Texas following service. Visitation for the family will be held from 6:30 – 8:00 pm on Tuesday, August 19th at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home, 850 Eva Street in Montgomery, Texas.
