Scott Rust Porter passed away in Montgomery, Texas on August 21st at age 36. A memorial service will be held at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home, Montgomery, Texas on Tuesday, August 28th at 10 a.m. Scott was born January 15, 1971 in Brunswick, Maine, and was raised in Pensacola, Florida. He was a devoted family man and served in the U. S. Army for four years specializing in satellite communications. He is survived by his wife Vanessa Suzanne, and daughter Olivia Grace Porter; parents, Jim Porter, Celeste Rust and Liz Porter; step-brother Patrick; best friend Anthony O’Bannon; Aunt Renee Vangoh; cousins, Katie Vangoh and Eric McCool.
