Meet Our Staff
Owner/Licensed Funeral Director/Embalmer
Gus is a 1979 graduate of Willard High School and a 1983 graduate of the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science. He has been a licensed funeral director since 1983 and had worked closely with his parents until his father passed away in 2002 and his mother in 2003, at which time he assumed operation of the three funeral homes. He is a member of the Ohio Funeral Directors Association, the Ohio Embalmers Association and various community organizations. He and his wife Sherri have been married since 1991 and have a teenage daughter, Madie Jo.
Licensed Funeral Director/Embalmer/CFSP
Matt is a 1990 graduate of Tiffin Columbian High School, received his B.S. from Ashland University in 1994 and an A.A.S. from the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science in 1995. He has been a licensed funeral director and embalmer for 20 years. He is a member of the Ohio Funeral Directors Association and currently serving his community as a Richmond Township Trustee. His wife, Jodi, is a Registered Nurse and they have three daughters, Cadence, Avery and Baylee. Matt enjoys hunting, fishing and raising livestock.
Licensed Funeral Director/Embalmer
Ashley is a lifelong Sandusky resident and a graduate of Perkins High School. She received an Associates Degree from Lorain County Community College and earned her Bachelors Degree in Mortuary Science from the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science in 2013. She is a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church in Sandusky. In her spare time she enjoys volunteering at the Ohio Veterans Home and most of all spending time with her family.
Apprentice Funeral Director/Embalmer
Mark is a lifelong resident of Willard and a 1988 graduate of Willard High School. He received his Associate Degree in Applied Science in Computer Information Systems from NCTC in 1992 and he received his BSBA degree from Ashland University in 1996. He graduated from Pittsburg Institue of Mortuary Science in January of 2016 and is currently an apprentice Funeral Director and Embalmer. He is a member of St. Francis Xavier Church and the Knights of Columbus. In 2012 he married Julie who is a Medical Staff Coordinator at Mercy Willard Hospital and has 3 children; Kira, Chase and Alaina. Together they enjoy spending time with family and friends, working at local sprint car race tracks and attending auto racing events.
Joni is a life long resident of Willard and is married to Tom Secor. They have two daughters, Jocelyn and Jenna. Jocelyn a Licensed Funeral Director and Jenna a Registered Nurse. She is a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church and enjoys spending time with her dog, Hank and family and friends.
