| | | Dorothy E. Hatton, age 98, resident of Willard, passed away on Friday, October 2, 2009 at Hillside Acres Nursing Home. She was born on June 5, 1911 to the late Clinton and Leah (Colwell) Spencer and had been a lifelong resident of Willard. She worked in the cafeteria of the High School and was a homemaker. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Willard and the former Willard Elks Emblem Club.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Ronald and Vera Hatton of Inverness, FL and Thomas and Shu Ching Hatton of Severn, MD; seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren and many step grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leston Hatton in 1975 and her parents, Clinton and Leah (Colwell) Spencer.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2009 at 10:00 AM at Greenwood Cemetery in Willard. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hillside Acres Recreation Department, 370 E.
