My childhood memories of Gertie are when she & Pud could come to our house on the weekends & we would play cards or Yahtzee. We would sometimes get to laughing so hard and wouldn't even know what we were laughing about!! Those were fun, simple times. I'm so glad I had them both in our lives. I am so sorry for your loss, Paula. Your mom was so loved by all of you and also by her neices and nephews. She was always there for all of our family gatherings and always with a smile on her face for all of us.
Your dad is smiling, and so happy to have her home with him.
