| | | Leona F. Sherman, age 91, resident of Willard, Ohio passed away on Thursday, November 17, 2011 in the Willard Mercy Hospital. She was born on November 21, 1919 in Wooster, Ohio to the late Julius and Mary (Smytt) Miller. Mrs. Sherman was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She is survived by three daughters, Cheryl Ann (Doug) Frederick of Willard; Mary Kristine (Roger) Runion of Madison, AL; and Shari Lynn Dale of Tiffin; two sons, Richard Allen (Arlene) Sherman of Attica; and David Clark (Bobbie) Sherman of Greenwich; 14 grandchildren; 2 step grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; 4 step great grandchildren; a foster son, George E. Henderson; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Walter Sherman in 2001; a sister, Rose Clark; a brother, George Miller; and an infant brother, Edward Miller.
Friends may call at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard, Ohio on Monday, November 21, 2011 from Twelve Noon to 2:00 PM where the funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM with President Kent Nord officiating.
