| | | Hazel Madeline Heisler, age 89, resident of Willard, Ohio and more recently of Clyde, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, March 20, 2008 in McAllen Medical Center in McAllen, Texas. She was born on February 7, 1919 in Willard, Ohio to the late Charles M. Blinzley and Ruby (Sherman) Cross. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Willard, Ohio. She retired as a secretary / accountant from Pioneer Rubber Co. She was a former volunteer for the 1st grade Richmond Elementary School and a former member of the Mohican Valley Airstream Club. One of her greatest joys was following the activities of her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by a son, Richard Heisler of Port Clinton, Ohio; three daughters, Cyndi (Ken) Shoup of Willard, Karen (Joe) Sawyer of Clyde, Ohio, and Deanne (K.F. "Bud") Trill of Palm Harbor, FL; 13 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; and 5 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell K. Heisler, on November 28, 1998; her parents; two brothers, Robert and Donald Blinzley; a sister, Nellie Jane Kegley Sampson; and a nephew, Robert Blinzley, Jr.
Friends may call at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard on Friday, March 28, 2008 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 10:30 AM with Rev. Gerhardt Gosnell, pastor of St. Paul Lutheran Church of Clyde officiating and Rev. Brian Peltomaa, pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church of Willard assisting. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, New Haven, Ohio. Memorial expressions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 740 Commerce Dr., Ste.
