Mary Lee Sublett Ney was born September 28, 1912 in Rusk, Texas to Will and Annie Sublett. She passed away January 25, 2005 in Oklahoma where she had lived for the past three years. Mary lived most of her life in Huntsville where she and her husband, Jack Ney, owned a business until his death in 1969. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, three brothers, John, Earl, and Howard Sublett, and one sister, Inez Bankston. Mary is survived by one son, Jack Ney and wife Fain of Tahlequah, OK; one daughter, Mary Ann Blasdel of Edmond, OK; one sister, Macye Hamblen of Huntsville; two granddaughters, Janet Ney of Oklahoma City and Jean Ney Stafford and husband Kent of Piedmont, OK; one grandson, Mike Blasdel and wife Julie of Edmond, OK. Mary also had six great-grand children, six nephews, and one niece. After moving to Oklahoma, Mary spoke daily of how much she missed her wonderful family and friends in Huntsville. Services will be 10:30 a.m., Saturday, February 5, 2005 at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 Normal Park Dr., Huntsville, Texas. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
