Bobby Dale Brooks

Bobby Dale Brooks, 59, of Huntsville, Texas, passed away on July 8, 2012. He was born in Livingston, Texas, on April 6, 1953, to Robert E. Brooks and Lilla M.Walker Brooks.

He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Paula Turner; two daughters, Macheal Brooks and Melissa Brooks; three step-children, Darrell, Kari and Kyle; four grandchildren; father, Robert “Bob” Brooks and mother, Lilla “Sally” Brooks; brother, Michael Brooks; sister, Judy Nixon; and numerous other nieces and nephews.

Bobby retired from the City of Huntsville and was a contractor and a musician. He was always there for friends and family.

A graveside service for Bobby will be held Thursday, July 12, 2012, 10:00 a.m., at Carlisle Cemetery, in Carlisle, Texas, with Rev. Reagan Cooksey officiating. Family will receive friends Wednesday, July 11, 2012, 5:00-7:00 p.m., at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home in Huntsville, Texas.
