| | | Ralph "Pops" Losack Sr.
Ralph "Pops" Losack Sr. was called home on Sunday, June 24th, 2012. Pops came into this world on February 19, 1939 in Orchard, Texas. He grew up in Orchard and in Port Arthur, Texas. On April 12, 1958 he married his true love, Sable Ann Comeaux.
Pops retired from TDCJ after 23 years of dedicated service. He also retired from Walker County after 12 years of service. Ralph felt blessed and honored to participate in Our Lady of the Lake Knights of Columbus Council, #2285, as a Fourth Degree Knight. Pops also loved to barbeque and fry turkeys for St. Thomas Catholic Church.
His is survived by his beloved wife, Sable of 54 years, five children - Deborah Allen of Casa Grande, Arizona; Cindy (& John) Chapman of Magnolia, Texas; Ralph, Jr.; Ida (& Steve) Hunt; Rory (& Robin) Losack all of Huntsville, Texas. Also surviving are 7 grandchildren, Denise (& Jody), Preston, Heather, Kevin, John, Kayln and Rachel. He was also blessed with 2 great grandchildren - Hannah and Grace. He is survived by his brothers, Al, Philip, and Pat, one sister, Gwen. We cannot forget his little faithful 4- legged friend, "Opie"
The wake service will be held Wednesday, June 27th at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home, from 5 to 7, followed by a rosary. Funeral Mass will be held Thursday June 28th, 2012, at St. Thomas Catholic Church at 10am. Burial immediately following at Brooke Cemetery.
