He was top of his class in his training for Avionics Inertial and Radar Navigation, and ranked as an E-3. He was an inspiring man with a passion to teach his talents, and the will to work hard. In 1986 he began his own air compressor business in Huntsville which he operated for 20 plus years. Phil enjoyed family vacations, especially annual trips to the river, snow skiing in Colorado, scuba diving, watching races, and music. He was a wonderful man who will be deeply missed, but forever loved in our hearts.
