| | | Blanca Estella Cano was born June 11, 1981 in Huntsville Texas. She graduated from Huntsville High School and joined the United States Navy and served on the USS Harry Truman aircraft carrier. She is survived by her mother Silvia Garcia and her guardians Cindy Gutierrez and Juvenal Gutierrez.
Blanca is also survived by her maternal grandparents Ramiro and Herlinda Saldana, brothers Juan Cano, Jr., Carlos Garcia, Matthew Garcia and Miguel Garcia. Blanca is also survived by her maternal aunts Elia Flores and Gloria Saldana and her maternal uncle Joe Saldana. Blanca had lots of aunts and uncles, cousins and friends who were a part of her life. She will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be Sunday, September 20, 2009 from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home and on Monday September 21, 2009 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, September 22, 2009, 10:00 a.m. at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor David Valentine officiating. Internment will be at the Mayes Addition of Oakwood Cemetery.
Blanca passed away on Thursday, September 17, 2009 in Austin, Texas and joined our Heavenly Father. She was attending Austin Community College and was employed with HEB distribution center in San Marcos Texas. She is preceded in death by her brother Joaquin Cano and her Tio Manuel Flores.
Pallbearers will be Juan Cano, Jr., Carlos Garcia, Matthew Garcia, Miguel Garcia, Jacob Rodriguez and Juvenal Gutierrez.
