Wanda Lou Mills was born on June 21, 1939 to Henry Murray and Olive Murray (Key) in Huntsville, Texas. She passed away on August 29, 2009 in Pasadena, Texas at the age of 70.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents and sisters Virgie Beal, Joyce Owens and Nellie Ream. She is survived by brother Doyle Murray of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, sister Evelyn Curtis of Groveton, Texas, sister and husband Glenda and Bill Davis of Huntsville, Texas and numerous nieces and nephews.
Wanda grew up in Huntsville graduating from Huntsville High School in 1957. After moving to Pasadena, Texas, she worked forty-one years and six months in an administrative position with OCAW Local - #13.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, September 2, 2009 at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Huntsville, Texas with Rev. Roy Love officiating. Interment will follow at Harmony Cemetery in Walker County, Texas.
Family will receive friends Tuesday, September 1, 2009 from 5:30 7:30 PM at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home.
