Betty Darnell Childress of Arlington, Texas passed away on June 14, 2009, she was 56 years old. She was born in Texas City, Texas on February 6, 1953 to Willie Little and Geraldine Pool Little. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Joey and Tasha Childress; son, Russell Childress; two sisters, Rita Rodriguez and Joyce Lindsay; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; numerous friends and relatives. Services will be held June 17, 2009, 2:00PM, at the chapel of Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home in Huntsville. Visitation will be June 16, 2009 from 6:00-8:00PM at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home in Huntsville. Interment will be at East Sandy Cemetery in New Waverly, Texas following the services.
