Larue Turner was born March 28, 1928 in Harris County, Texas to Henry and Opal Juenke and passed away December 22, 2005 at her home in Huntsville, She had lived in Huntsville for over twenty years. She was a member of the Huntsville Church of Christ and involved with several women’s groups and Bible Study. She loved to travel and she played golf until her health prevented her from playing. She had CML for nearly twenty years.

Survivors include her son Glenn Davis and wife Patti of Houston, daughter Carol Favro and husband Terry of Tomball, brother C. J. Juenke and wife Earlene, sister Thelma Taylor ; grandchildren Karri Jones, Chad Jones and wife Chiara, Tara Favro, Travis Favro, Kim Guillick and husband Mike, Roger King and wife Michelle, Ronald King and wife Debbie, eight great grandchildren; Taylor Favro, Brooke, Lindsey, and Lauren Guillick, Austin and Hanna King, Andrew and Eric King and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Turner will lie in state Monday December 26, 2005 at the funeral home from noon
with the family receiving friends from 5 to & p.m. Graveside services will be held Tuesday December 27, 2005 at 2 p.m. at Woodlawn Cemetery at 1101 Antoine Dr. in Houston under the direction of Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home with Ray Taylor officiating.

The family wishes to express a special thanks to Dr. Riggs at St. Lukes Hospital in Houston for the many years of care given to Mrs. Turner.
