Leneta Fayne Eckart Hendricks Matchett was born June 26, 1930 in Algerita, Texas and died January 13, 2008. Leneta was preceded in death by her parents, Clay and Naomi Hendricks. She is survived by her husband William (Bill) H. Matchett of 49 years; they would have celebrated their 50 on January 23, 2008. She and Bill lovingly raised their children and surviving her are her daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Tommy Prasifka; sons and daughter-in-laws, William G. and Joy Matchett and Charles and Katrice Matchett; grandsons, Clay and wife Morgan, James and wife Tala, Cory, Thomas, Kolton, and Cord; great granddaughters, Anjelica and Ella Rose; sisters, Billie Jenkins, Mona Hendricks; and brother, Clay Hendricks.

Lenetais retired from Huntsville Memorial Hospital where she had been a LVN for many years. Her joys in life were working alongside her husband with the Boy Scouts and reading.

Her children arise and call her blessed;
her husband also, and he praises her.

She loved spending time with her family and many friends. She was well known as "Granny" to the many that loved her and she greatly influenced their lives.

Services will be at 10:00am on Wednesday, January 16, 2008 at the Huntsville Church of Christ. She will lie in state on Tuesday from 8:00am 8:00pm; family will receive friends from 5:00 8:00pm Tuesday evening. Interment will be at Brooke Cemetery following the service.
