Alan Russell LeVan, (72) , passed away on Sunday, February 19, 2012 in the The Woodlands, Tx. He was born in Waterloo Michigan on July 8, 1939, son of Elmo and Zella LeVan. He graduated from the class of 1957 in Chelsea Michigan. A long-time self employed builder in Grass Lake/Chelsea area until moving to Willis Texas in March 1978 where he continued carpentry with T & A Enterprises until retiring in 2004. His favorite hobbies were Nascar racing and being outdoors. He is survived by his wife, Ann LeVan (Willis, Tx); son Troy LeVan (Willis, Tx); daughter Tracy McCulloch (Montgomery, Tx); grandchildren, Jory (Kendahl) and Jordan McCulloch, and one great-grandchild Hunter McCulloch; three sisters, Shirley Case (Michigan), Yvonne Adkins (Arizona), and Virginia Harvey (Michigan) and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Duane, and sister June Stork. Services will be held at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home in Willis, Tx on Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at 1 pm.
