Ruby Laverne Davis, age 89, passed away February 2, 2012. She is survived by daughter Deborah Jean Matulewicz and husband Walter of Broken Arrow, OK; daughter Mary Alma Uriarte and husband Jerry of Willis, TX; granddaughters Carrin Lewis and husband Jason, Charity Parchem and husband Bart, Amie Bunch and husband Wes, Rebecca Lopez and husband Jason, and Mary Alysabeth Matulewicz; and 10 great-grandchildren. Ruby was preceded in death by grandson Michael Matulewicz; great grandson Giovanni Lopez; sister Edna Stubblefield; sister Jackie Shriver; and brother Walter O. Walker. Visitation with the family is scheduled for Sunday, February 5 from 1-4 PM at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home in Willis. Funeral Services officiated by Jerry Uriarte Jr. will be held Monday, February 6 at 11 AM in the Chapel at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home in Willis, with burial later that day at 3 PM at Oakland Cemetery in Navasota.
