Virgie Marie Harvey, age 92, passed away December 20, 2011. Marie was born to Lex and Fannie Crundwell on March 8, 1919 in Singleton, TX. She graduated from Sam Houston State Teachers College in 1942, and taught 23 years in different school districts. Marie is survived by daughter Laura Angle and husband Norman; son Timothy Harold Harvey and wife Kathy; grandchildren: Elizabeth Marie Martin and husband Craig, Christopher Harold Harvey and wife Mandy, Jennifer Ellen Reece and husband Bryan, and Amy Kathryn Veach and husband Willie; great-grandchildren: Joshua Martin, Sean Martin, Cade Martin, Jackson Reece, Colin Reece, Kaitlyn Harvey, Kristen Harvey, Allie Veach, Taylor Veach; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents Lex and Fannie Crundwell; husband Olis Harold Harvey; 2 sisters and 4 brothers. Visitation with the family is scheduled for Wednesday, December 21 from 6-8 PM at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home in Willis. Funeral Services officiated by Chaplain Kenneth McClenny will be held Thursday, December 22 at 10 AM in the Chapel at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home in Willis.
