Helen Venable, age 88, passed away June 21, 2011. She is survived by her husband, L.L. Venable; son R. Lee Venable and wife Mary; son Dorian Anthony Venable and wife Georgia; daughter Rhonda Rule; and grandchildren: Tellina Rezzoffi, Dorian Anthony Venable II, Jena Hamm, Sydney Venable and Torrey Venable. A Memorial Service officiated by Rev. Mark Woodward, will be held Saturday, June 25 at 10:30 AM in the Chapel at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home in Willis. The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the First United Methodist Church in Willis in honor of Helen.
