Donald Robert Schuetze, age 87, passed away May 18, 2011. He is survived by his loving wife Mrs. Joyce (JoJo) Schuetze; daughter and son-in-law Linda and Gordon Ginn; son and daughter-in-law John and Diane Schuetze; son Donald Ray Schuetze; son Gregory Romair; son Donald Romair; “special grandson” Kirk Alan Bailey; grandchildren: Richard Schuetze, Sheila Winton, Desiree Alvarado, Michael Tulley, Tracy Tulley, Jimmy Tulley, Misty Schuetze, Andrea Cochran, Jason Romair; numerous great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and special niece and husband who helped care for us, Paulette and Jodie Murray. Donald was preceded in death by parents Rev. and Mrs. Richard Schuetze; brothers Ervin, Weldon, and Willie Schuetze; and grandson Robert Schuetze.
Funeral Services officiated by Pastor Charles Smith will be held Monday, May 23 at 10 AM in the Chapel at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home in Willis, with interment following service at Pool Cemetery in Richards. Visitation with the family is scheduled for Sunday, May 22 from 4-6 PM at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home in Willis. Pallbearers will include Jeff McDonald, Jason Oliphant, Shane Houser, Josh Montgomery, Cindy Hartley, and Ricky Schuetze. Honorary pallbearers are Kirk Bailey, John Schuetze, Paul Gonzales, Robert Schuetze, Greg Romair, Richard Schuetze, Gary Bailey, and Jodie Murray.
