| | | Janet L. Slott, 45, of New Waverly, passed away on January 25, 2011 after a lengthy illness of 13 years. Born December 12, 1965 in Huntsville, Texas to Martin and Linda Slott.
Janet is survived by mother Linda Slott, father Martin Slott, brother Christopher Slott, all of New Waverly; uncle and aunt Robert R. Slott and Jean Osterkamp of Waterwood; cousin Angela Kimmel of St. Paul, MN; cousin Deanna Slott of Pflugerville; cousin Celi Blazek of New Waverly; and numerous other relatives and special friends.
She was preceded in death by grandparents Louis and Ruby Malak of Willis, and Joe and Cecilia Slott of New Waverly.
A Visitation and Rosary will be held Friday, January 28, 2011 at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home in Willis, TX. Visitation at 6 PM with Rosary at 7 PM. Funeral Mass officiated by Father Daokim “Kim” Nguyen will be at St. Joseph Catholic Church in New Waverly at 1 PM on Saturday, January 29, 2011 with burial in Elmina Cemetery. Pallbearers include Frank Blazek, Bill Gregory, Raymond Belinowski, Ray Belnoski, Michael Slott and Darrel Novark.
