George Edwin Booth, age 77, passed away July 31, 2009. He is survived by wife Marian Booth of Willis; son Terry Lee Booth and wife Amy of Phoenix, AZ; sister Helen Booth; brother Benny Booth; brother Darrell Booth; brother Phillip Booth; grandson Eric Booth; granddaughter Kellie Drake; grandson James Booth; and granddaughter Marrin Booth. Visitation with the family will be held on Sunday, August 2 from 6-8 PM at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home in Willis. Funeral Services officiated by Dr. J.D. Andrews are scheduled for Monday, August 3 at 10 AM at the First Baptist Church of New Waverly. Burial with military honors will be Tuesday, August 4 at 11 AM at the Houston National Cemetery.
