Claudia Edna Gregg Hardy, born August 20, 1916, passed into Heaven to be with Jesus and her beloved husband Sam on March 2, 2009. She is predeceased by her parents, William and Martha Gregg, and 4 siblings. Claudia is survived by her children and their spouses, Martha and Olen Moseley, Mike and Donna Hardy, and Melanie and Ron Nakashima, and Muffin, her beloved cat. She leaves behind grandchildren Misty Buning, Michele McLendon, and Melissa McGee and their spouses; as well as great-grandchildren Todd and Jake Buning, Trey and Nicole McLendon, and Shelby McGee. Claudia also leaves behind a lifetime of friends, and her friends from Tarrytowne Estates, where she has lived for many years until recently. A memorial service in celebration of her life will be held at Ashford United Methodist Church, 2201 South Dairy Ashford, Houston, 77077, on Thursday, March 5th at 11 AM, the Reverend David Meeker-Williams officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Huffington Foundation on Aging, or a charity of your choice. Mom, we will miss you so very much, but we are so happy you will be with Dad.
