Peggy Jean Harbin, age 76, of Willis, passed away February 2, 2009. She was born September 8, 1932 in East St. Louis, IL to Estel and Marie Overall. Peggy is survived by son John Love and daughter-in-law Cindy of Columbia, IL; son Randy Love and daughter-in-law Dottie of Hollywood, FL; daughter Connie Johnson and son-in-law Ron of Houston, TX; son Chris Strauss and daughter-in-law Dawna of Montgomery, TX; stepdaughter Carla Waller and son-in-law Paul of St. Marys, GA; sister Janice Mathews of Columbia, IL; granddaughter Paula James; granddaughter Kimberly Eyermann; grandson Christopher McNiff; granddaughter Casie Walker; grandson Trey Strauss; grandson Billie Waller; grandson Brian Waller; 15 great-grandchildren; and special pets Tiao, Cookie and Punk. Peggy is preceded in death by grandson Allan Love; grandson Blake Strauss; granddaughter Tamara Tucker; parents Estel and Marie Overall; and husband Carlous Harbin. Peggy will lie in state Thursday, February 5 from 9 AM until 7 PM at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home in Willis, TX. Services officiated by Pastor A.M. Stone and Deacon Bob Stafford will be held Thursday, February 5 at 6 PM in the Chapel at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home.
