|We are saddened to learn of Brother Temple's passing, but rejoice knowing he is with his Lord! Our young lives were blessed at North Cheyenne Baptist Church under his preaching, teaching, and his love for us as young marrieds and young Christians. Praying for God's peace for you Mrs. Temple as you grieve.

|Dear Uncle Ernest,
When I learned of your illness, I reflected on how you influenced my life. My first memory takes me to my fathers death. I was only 12 years old. Wow!! 45 years ago. Yes that makes me 57. As I recall, you and Aunt Myrtie were visiting from Colorado. From that day, you both began to encourage and show love to me, through a very difficult and confusing time in my life. When I graduated high school I wanted to spread my wings and get out of Texas. You invited me to visit you in Colorado (1970). The visit turned into a live in, even though you had 6-10 foster boys to look after, you encouraged me to stay as long as I wanted. You gave me a job with the Loveland Parks Dept. You encouraged me in my faith with God, to the point were I made a profession of faith while I was in your care. That was the most important decision I have ever made in my life. You and Uncle T. J. married Stephanie and me, 36 years ago. You let us live in the house behind your house until we could afford a place. There was nothing you wouldnt do for me. You provided for me the love, and patience only a Christian father could do, for that I am grateful.
Youre Nephew Mike

|I have been a long-time friend and co-worker of Sandy Temple. I have met Floyd and Myrt a few times. I am very saddened of his passing but know that he is with our Lord and is free of pain. I will keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers hoping that your faith will guide you through the difficult grieving process. May God comfort and guide you. Denise|

I remember the day Daddy died and what a comfort it was to have Uncle Ernest there to hug and comfort me and tell me Daddy had gone to be with the angels. I know he is up there now with all those love ones that have gone before us. One day soon we will all be together again.
Hugs to you and your family in your time of loss.

|Bro. Ernie is the most loving person I have ever met. I appreciate his concern for my spiritual growth and he will be missed. It comforts me to know that he is in the presence of the one he served and loved....Jesus Christ. I pray that God will comfort all of you in his absence here.
