Mark Edward Hopkins, age 72, of Columbus, Saturday, October 20, 2007, at home. Preceded in death by his wife Marlene Hopkins, son John E. Hopkins, sister Carol Fogle. Survived by his daughter, Traci Kitchen; special friend, Michael Corbin; grandsons, Drew Edward Kitchen and his father, William Kitchen, Daniel John Hopkins and his mother, Anne Marie Matthews; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Anita and James Perry; other relatives and friends, and his favorite dog, Lucy. Retired from Nationwide Insurance where he earned his C.P.C.U. Veteran U.S. Army. Graduate of The Ohio State University. Mile 17, Dad. Mark was an avid Buckeye fan. "Time and change will surely show how firm thy friendship O-HI-O." Funeral Service 1 p.m. Thursday, October 25, 2007, at RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, 515 High Street, Worthington, Ohio 43085, where friends may call one hour prior to service. Burial Blendon Central Cemetery.
