Fred J. Davis, age 69, of Columbus passed away Tuesday, May 1, 2007 at his home surrounded by his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lou and Helen Davis; brother, Glenn Davis and nephew, Kevin Orr. His survivors include his wife, Connie King Davis; daughters, Sheila (Rick) Hahn and Shelli (John) Piatt; granddaughter, Halle Davis; grandsons, Josh and Ryan Hahn; brothers, Bob (Sandy), Bill (Mady), Jack (Doris), Jim, and Ron (Pam) Davis; sister, Shirley Chatfield; brothers-in-law, Ed and Tom (Lois) King; sister-in-law, Cindy King (Godfrey); other relatives and friends. Fred was a part of Nancy’s Restaurant family. A funeral service will be held 7:00 p.m. Thursday, May 3, 2007 at the RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, 515 High Street, Worthington, OH 43085, with Rev. Alan Wendt officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 3:00 p.m. until service time Thursday. A celebration of Fred’s life will be held following the service at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 4, 2007 at Fairview Memorial Park.
