Ivan Deckard, 80, of Powell, passed away peacefully at home Sunday, December 31, 2006. Born and raised in Gallia County. Retired from Lennox Ind. after 41 years. Member of Linworth United Methodist Church, Capital City F & AM for 52 years, Moose Lodge #1427, American Legion Worthington Post #239. Preceded in death by parents, five brothers and five sisters. Survived by wife of 57 years, Annabelle; daughter, Pamela (Boris) Boh; and many nieces and nephews, friends and neighbors. Will be missed by walking companion, Libby. Funeral service 1 p.m. Wednesday, January 3, 2007 at RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 515 High St. (3 blocks south of St. Rt. 161), Worthington, OH 43085, where family and friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday. Pastor Gene Folden officiating. Entombment Union Cemetery.
