Richard "Dick" Bednarz, age 62, of Dublin, was lifted to rest in God's garden on Monday, October 15, 2007, at OSU James Center. Preceded in death by parents David and Eleanor Bednarz. Survived by wife of 40 years, Marjorie Joy; son, Rick; daughter, Carrie; grandchildren, Riquendra Bednarz, Christian Bednarz, and Allen Hoffman. Graduate of Lincoln High School in Canton, Ohio and The University of Akron. Deacon at Bethel Presbyterian Church. Former Elder/Deacon at Westminister Presbyterian Church in Canton, Ohio. Retired registered electrical engineer at American Electric Power for over 33 years. Friends may call from 6-9 p.m. Thursday at RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 515 High St., Worthington, Oh. Funeral service 10 a.m. Friday, October 19, 2007, at Bethel Presbyterian Church with Pastor Jerry Kasberg officiating. There will be a graveside service at Forest Hills Cemetery, Canton, Ohio at 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to American Cancer Society or to Bethel Presbyterian Church.
