John R. “Dick” Booth, age 74 of Columbus died Friday, August 17, 2007 at Regency Manor Nursing Home. He was a member of Capital City Baptist Church and Oakland Park Wesleyan Church. John served as a Republican Party Ward 9 Committeeman for 10 years, past V-P of Coalition of Concerned Citizens and Co-Host of Community 21 Public Access Television Booth Russell Report and Co-Hosted Central Ohio Personalities with Pat Burgoon for Channel 42 in Delaware. Preceded in death by parents, John F. & Agnes E. Booth. Survived by: cousin, Rudolph Buttlar; and special friends, Malcolm Goolsby, Joan Blake, Edson Howard, Ralph King and Martha Bandy. Funeral Service 3 p.m. Monday, August 27, 2007 at RUTHERFORD FUNERAL HOME, 2383 N. High St., Columbus where friends may call one hour prior to the service. Private Burial at Glen Rest Memorial Estates.
