William F. Davis, Sr., age 76, of Columbus, died Monday, August 20, 2007, at home. Owner of Davis Piano Moving which he founded in 1965. Preceded in death by parents Louis and Helen Davis, brothers Glenn and Fred Davis. Survived by wife of 43 years, Madeline; children, William F. Davis, Jr., Joann (Patrick) Hill, Nancy (Kevin) Vititoe, Susan Davis and Linda (Michael) Muschott; 12 grandchildren, 2 great-granddaughters; brothers, Robert, Jimmie, Jack and Ronald Davis; sister, Shirley Chatfield; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Member of Fourth Avenue Christian Church; Life member of Red Men Club Sioux Tribe #128 I.O.R.M., member of Hunt and Fish Club and Buckeye Sport and Leisure Club. Veteran U.S. Marine Corps. and a diehard Buckeye Fan. Funeral Service 11 a.m. Friday, August 24, 2007, at RUTHERFORD FUNERAL HOME, 2383 North High Street, Columbus, where friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday. Rev. Joe Bliffen, officiating.
