| | | ALLOWAY Jeremy "Jerry" Reason Alloway, 63, born March 19, 1944 passed away July 31, 2007 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Preceded in death by his mother Jane Reason Alloway and father R. Brooke Alloway, and his faithful companion, Divot. Survived by his wife, Debbie Alloway; sons, James (Tanya) of Richwood and Justin (Davina) of Gahanna; grandsons, Justin and Cameron Alloway; sister, Andrea (Darwin) of Lima; nephews, Zak and Seth Ralston; close family, Sharon Alloway, John Vice and Laura Vice; loyal companions, Brutus and Baylee; granddogs and many great friends. Jerry attended The Columbus Academy and The Ohio State University. He loved his family, his friends and our country. Jerry enjoyed OSU football, taking cruises, and golfing. He loved a good party and his spirit filled the room. Funeral service will be held Saturday, August 4, 2007 at 10 .m. at RUTHERFORD FUNERAL HOME AT POWELL, 450 West Olentangy St.(Powell Rd./St.Rt. 750 1/4 mile east of Sawmill Pkwy.) Powell, OH 43065, where friends may call Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Rev. James Meacham officiating. Entombment Union Cemetery. Casual attire welcome. In lieu of flowers, friends who wish may contribute in memory of Jerry to Hope Street Kids, 145 E. Rich St., Columbus, OH 43215 and Citizens for Humane Action, 3765 Corporate Dr., Columbus, OH 43231.
